Happy Third of July!

My mom and I had a fun day regressing. First we played with the "snakes" that you light on fire. Then we saw fireworks; it was one of the best shows that we've seen. Then we played with sparklers. Oh, and we bought glow-in-the-dark tubes to put around our necks.

I just discovered that if you bundled enough sparklers together, they make a bomb. Gadzooks!

Tomorrow I'll to to the Boulder Creek parade, then with luck, I'll remember to go up on the hill with a brandy and a cigar and watch the fireworks from wherever they're having them this year ;)
