Water, Water, Everywhere. Except Here

I was looking at The Complete Book of Home Organization, and I keep on flagging pages, so I should buy it. Though it is heavy on putting things in glass or clear plastic containers, which costs money. I like the idea of getting wire shelf racks though. I'm going to buy wire shelf racks before I spend any money on containers because I have a lot of extra space in my cabinets, but no extra shelves.

 

I checked Facebook Marketplace for clear plastic containers, but the ones that they showed are in different states from me. No. There is a big garage sale day in Lincoln in June with tons of garage sales, so it might be worth it to check for containers.

 

Walmart carries dry food (cereal, rice, etc.) containers for $3.98. Awesome!

 

Mom had suggested that I get a kitchen island because I have room for one, but that's on the long-term plan.

 

Woke up a little after my alarm at 9:15 AM. Wound up going back to sleep for an hour. I suck, but the sleep really helped.

 

The water is just trickling out. This is not good. Now there's no water. Crap. I can't take a shower. Crap. Or do laundry.

 

Not sure what to do with myself if I'm not showering, I have some time to kill, but I don't want to clean because I won't be able to wash myself off. (As it turns out, it was good that I went back to sleep.) I could go in early and leave early.

 

Kitty drama. This time, it's Zara going after Mimi though. Payback time. Mimi looks completely confused. "Why is she doing that?" Umm, because, Mimi, you try to beat Zara up?

 

The water's back on (at 5:30).

 

I've been purusing the blog of the person who wrote The Complete Book of Home Organization, A Bowl Full of Lemons. She has some nice printable forms to keep in a binder to organize your home records, medical records, car records, and financial records. I might get some of them when I get paid. She also has purging and organizing challenges. I think that following her blog will help.

 

And reading her blog jump-started me on cleaning. I'm working on the kitchen. I plan to clean the kitchen and then go to bed.
