Vacation

Today, we had an outing to celebrate the different product releases that we've shipped. We went to the The Tech Museum of Innovation. We saw an interesting IMAX film about building the space station. I had to skip a second IMAX movie because the first one made me queasy. (I am, unfortunately, very prone to motion sickness.) We had lunch and then I took off because I've been to the museum before.

And now I'm on vacation through the end of next week. I'm just planning to rest and do some projects around here, but still, it'll be very nice.

Actually, the youngest one, Tasha, was and still is the hardest to handle. She is fine around Me or my parents, but with any strangers, she hides under the bed or couch until they leave. It took a long time for her to trust any of us, but I think that is because when I caught her, it was in the cage trap, and she was already injured with a very bad infection in her eye. Then, she was subjected to being poked, stuck with needles, operated on (both her eye and spaying), and then being medicated. Her trust level was at an all time low at that point. She has made great strides, and is a wonderful pet, now.
