I woke up at 9 AM and decided to get up so that I'd have time for a nap before I go to AT&T. Now I'm done with the morning routine, and the girls are eating.

Someone posted some videos of rides at Disney World. I watched a couple of rides, including Pirates of the Caribbean, and now I'm singing, "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me."

Had a good nap. Threw myself together and went to AT&T. They've gone down in my estimation because I needed to transfer the SIM card from the old phone to the new phone and no one (human or written instructions) told me that. But now it's working. I called my mom to tell her that I have a working phone and that I'll talk to her later.

Had a bite to eat. Ran out to the grocery stores. I'm still shopping silly and loading up on anything that sounds good, especially sweets. I did manage to get the ingredients for a "Dole Whip" that they sell at Disney World: pineapple juice, (frozen) pineapple, and vanilla ice cream. Yum. Susan Dennis gave me a taste for Peanut Butter and Jelly, so I got the ingredients for that. I also wound up with 15 rolls of paper towels, which is way more than I need, but those were the packages that Aldi had. And toilet paper. I'm not out, but am thinking ahead. (Hmm. I just occurred to me that maybe I should donate some rolls of paper towels to the local food bank.)

I don't think that I'm going to order Chinese food from Chi today because 1) It's raining, 2) I'm tired, and 3) I have a ridiculous amount of food in the house.

I finally got the groceries put away. Now it's storming.

I lay down for a while with Zara and Mimi but couldn't fall asleep.

Talked to Mom. She sounded good. Her leg has stopped hurting.

My mom loaned me the Harry Potter movies a while ago. I don't feel like doing anything else constructive tonight, so I'm going to watch one. I am planning to get up early to view the live feed of the Easter service at the Unitarian Church in Bloomington, but I can go back to sleep after that.

RV?

I really want to take some time off. I'm really burnt out, and need some down time. I have three weeks of vacation accrued, but I know that I can't take vacation until July. And I won't be able to take more than a week. I did okay my week off (at the end of July) with my boss. My boss will be off next week.

I think part of the reason that I've been in such a dark mood is because I forgot to take my meds this morning.

My dad is currently reading about macroeconomics, and he recommended a set of books to me.

I was pondering joining the local UCC church to meet people. However, I'd rather go to an Unitarian church, but there isn't one in town. However, the Unitarian church that I'm the most interested in has a 10:00 AM service with coffee afterward. The local UCC church has coffee at 9:15 AM with a 10:00 service. So I'd be leaving the house at the same time anyway. The Unitarian church, though, isn't offering its usual services during the summer. So I need to make plans for the fall.

I was looking into whether living in an RV would save me money. However, there are no deeded lots in the area, and I don't think that I could handle putting in a septic system or doing without one. There is a mobile home park in Decatur that allows RVs, but I think that they charge rent. Not to mention, I don't know how Zara and Mimi would get along in an RV. (I wouldn't even think about doing anything like that while Harlee is alive.)

However, I think that I would like an RV when I'm ready to retire. Drive the RV around to places that I'm interested in retiring in and try them out. Then buy a house at the place that I choose, and park the RV on the property, and rent it out as an Airbnb. It would keep some money coming in. I'd have to empty the septic tank periodically, but that would be a good excuse for a road trip.

Question: what do you call a truck that has a built-in, permanent cover over the back like an SUV? I'm googling "covered truck," but not getting what I'm looking for.

Okay, there are SUVs that can tow a small RV trailer.

The Unitarian Church in Bloomington is having an interesting sermon on "intention" on Sunday. I thought about going to it, especially because I'm getting up earlier. Then I looked at the weather. "Ice to rain. Freezing rain in the morning, changing to light rain." Um, nope. IMO, that's the worst type of weather that you can have for driving. (Or walking, for that matter.) I'll keep an eye on the weather to see if it changes.

Ordered a planner with goal-setting and journaling sections. It's a quarterly planner, but that's okay.

The problem with clearing the kitchen table is that Zara thinks that it's a perch.

The waste management people have not picked up my garbage yet, presumably because they needed to pick up the garbage from Monday. This is cramping my style because I can't throw anything out while I'm organizing.

I've been working on culling my closet. I discovered that I had two gray tops that looked almost the same, except the tones of gray were different. I made up a nice outfit with one of the gray shirts, my gray blazer, and my black and gray herringbone pants. I also found a black leather blazer and a black-and-white dressy blazer. They would look great with nice black pants (which I have) and a nice pullover black sweater (which I don't have). Kohl's had what I wanted, but not in my size. Arrgh.

I think that I'll do some planning in my planning book, and then wend my way towards bed.
