Well, this was a quick walk. Bella wanted to play but Gracie didn’t, so she decided to come inside.

Turned the dryer on but forgot it was on the dewrinkle setting, so I’m going to take my shower at lunch after the clothes are dry. Napped a little.

Bella and Gracie swapped food again. Clearly the other one is getting the better food.

Napped over lunch. I had to remove Gracie because she and Bella were squabbling over the lamb toy. (Bella is more restful to sleep with.)

We were let out of work early for the holiday weekend. Popped into the shower.

My therapist wants me to ask my psychiatrist about my feeling lethargic. And she wants me to talk to my primary physician about a CPAP. (I had gotten one, but that was right when my mom died, and I couldn't deal with it.) We also talked about my going to the Unitarian Church, and she said that I just needed to ask a few questions and let people talk. We commiserated about the time of the church service though--10:30 on Sunday. My therapist said that she isn't dressed before noon, and I agreed with that statement. She also said to look for evening events held by the church.

I fell down a rabbit hole trying to find out when I created my Gmail account. I finally found the answer through trial and error.

Fed us all. Bella was trying to "forget" that she’s not supposed to eat the cats’ food. I told her that nothing had changed even though we now have Gracie.

Hmm. I’m wondering if I should get a “dog backpack” so that Bella could carry her own food when we camp.

Dozed lightly. The dogs are crashed out.

I’m thinking that I should get ready for bed and go to sleep early. I want to get outside to weed in the morning. Do I want to go to the fireworks show in Champaign tomorrow? Parking will be a bitch. No, I should stay home with the dogs and cats because they won't like the noise.

Got my ReMarkable tablet set up and planner pages loaded. I think that it will be a help.

Bella knocked into my laptop and the track ball went who-knows-where. I went into Zara's room to grab the trackball there. She seems to be feeling much better, is staying visible, and was loving me up. Good to see.

I should feed the beasts and go to sleep.

Happy 4th of July. I woke up around 12:30 PM. I keep staying up later and later, which isn't good. Monday will be a rude awakening.

Mimi was playing with a wadded-up napkin that fell on the floor. The house is full of cat toys, and she plays with a napkin. Cats! (It's fun to watch her play though.) Mimi also likes hiding under the drying rack when it's full of clothes. It's a cave!

I need to decide whether to go to the fireworks show tonight. I'd enjoy the fireworks, but maybe I should stay home and soothe the cats. I could watch a movie on Netflix.

There was a decent-sized earthquake in Southern California. I should turn the TV on. Watched for a while, but there really was no new news when I turned it off.

Facebook showed me a video that I made of fireworks several years ago, so I got my fireworks fix.

I decided to watch travelogues on Amazon Prime Video after I eat and take my shower. That's kind of patriotic, isn't it? :) America the beautiful, or something like that. Though I'm also eyeing videos from outside the US.

Watched videos of Seattle and Washington state, then took a break for dinner. The challenge is how much ice cream can I eat before Zara tries to stick her head in it?

Watched videos of Oregon and Washington DC. Damn, it would be cool to live near Washington DC. There's so much to see there.

I wrapped up the evening with a travelogue of Hawaii. It was very touristy though and meh. Some nice underwater photography though. Makes me want to learn to dive.

I think that I'll wrap the evening up by doing some stuff online. I read an article about how planting trees is one of the best things that we can do to get rid of carbon in our environment. I looked at volunteer work listed by the Nature Conservancy, and there are some volunteer opportunities in the area, although they mostly have to do with prairie and wetlands conservation.

Fireworks

It's dead quiet. I think that they did the fireworks on Saturday instead of tonight. Nope, they did do them tonight. I had a partially obstructed view of them from down the street from me.

I used up all the hot water washing bedding, so I took an ice-cold shower. That woke me up.

Some idiots are still setting off fireworks. People have to work tomorrow, ya know? Between the fireworks and the flea meds, Mimi and Zara have been fighting. I fed them, though, and that seemed to help.

Hot damn! I was able to order the pineapple shirt that I wanted for $30 with a promo code. It normally costs much more. (Chico's tends to be expensive.)
